With the increase in fuel I had booked my move with a 15% sur-charge and I was told this would not change. Billed an extra $157.14 because s/c had increased. Call their estimator and he agreed price was higher than quote and issued a $90.00 credit? I called again and this time he said because I had paid by credit card there was a credit card s/c of $62.64. This credit card handling fee had never been mentioned before. When you are giving a quote you will receive a brochure of services offered and how their men wear uniforms and are so professional which unfortunately is not true. Pickup and delivery dates where both changed. So disappointed with this company.

Dave, Scottie and Greg were very amiable and polite. They were upfront about costs and responded quickly after initial engagement.

Our two bedroom apartment took about 6 hours to pack into the truck. Even though there were some challenges to a speedy pack on behalf of my building, they did their best to get everything out in one piece.

Load in to our new place has been expedient, the guys are very open to placing belongings wherever asked. Will likely take about 4 hours all in.

They picked up on June 27th and delivered on July 5.

I will caution future clients to disassemble and or carefully pack any particle board or laminated furniture ahead of arrival. I have a total of 3 pieces of particle board/composite furniture and a lampshade that have been damaged. Dave has offered to fix the largest damage. If the repair holds, I will understand that accidents happen, but, I may need to replace a very expensive bench now. I know it wasnt intentional, but, it will be a pain to replace if the repair doesn’t hold up, even in the long run. Particle board damage is also is not covered under insurance, which I only found out about after the damage was caused. So, be aware of that.

Overall a pretty good experience. Much cheaper than renting a truck through U-Haul and some of the best prices I could find. If the repairs hold for a good while, I’ll be even happier.

We recently hired Calgary's Best Moving Co and they did a phenomenal job for us! Beginning with the quote, Dave's assessment was spot on. The moving crew - Chad, John and Tom were professional, efficient, careful and friendly - exactly how you want movers to be! We were especially impressed with how they wrapped everything to keep things clean and damage free! Everyone really exceeded our expectations and made our move easy and a lot less stressful! I emailed in to get a quote for my upcoming move and within half an hour I had received a call from Dave. We set up a time for him to come and do a walkthrough after I was off work, which was around 8:30pm. I was extremely impressed with this fact! He gave me quote to not only move my place but to also pack up everything. DEAL! The day of the move came and 3 awesome ladies came in and pack up my stuff in a very quick and efficient manor. Dave and Darrel(I believe that's his name) came and were in game mode! They packed me up with total care and speed. I was blown away! At the new place, they unloaded everything with precision and built my bed again for me.

All in all it was an extremely smooth move that went off without a hitch! I would recommend Dave and his crew to anyone needing to move and will sing their praises to anyone that will listen!

We used Dave and his crew for a double move ..one in May and the big move to Van Island in June.The contents from the May move were stored for free for 30 days.The move to BC from Calgary was completed on time and very professionally. Kudos to Dave's main guy Chad who managed both ends professionally.And true to Dave's word they took very good care of our stuff! No surprises and overall we were happy with our moving experience.I would strongly recommend Dave and his team for anyone looking for a professional and hassle free moving experience!

This move was very last minute and was very stressed aboutit. I send out an email for quotes via yelps on a sunday with mentioned of a very short notice (less than a week). The owner dave of Calgarys best moving respinded quickly within a 30 min and was ready to come in at 9:30 am the next morning for a quote,which he did and was very reasonable. I had a lot of unknown about my move, and Dave had numerous suggestion to help in whatever scenario I was going to have such as temporary storage either in calgary or onthe island. it was anice to have these backup options. His crew showed up on time. They were polite, pleasant and very professional. They had mats, they were organized and fast. The delivery was as planned and again polite, professional and fast. this was by far the best crew/company I have ever had as movers. Highly recommend Calgarys Best Moving!

The best moving company I’ve ever used and I’m moved over 30 times in my life. Reliable, picked up when they said they would, dropped off when they said they would. Not a thing broken and they were great to deal with. Answered my emails right away, friendly and professional. And the best thing they beat the other four quotes I got by thousands. One quote they beat by 50%, the other three they beat by 40%. Highly recommend this company for local or long distance moves.

Dave, Wendy and crew have been great. They came in when they said they would and did what they said they'd do. All were friendly, efficient and professional. They packed us up in two and a half days and when you consider that we had not moved in 45 years, there was a huge amount to be done. Dave found us people at the last minute to do the "move-out clean" when we discovered that most of those services had shut down. Our stuff is now wrapped in padding, sitting in heated, secure storage all arranged for us by Dave. Once we've found our new home, Dave will do the next phase of the move. We anticipate it going just as smoothly and are glad that his crew is going to do the heavy lifting and reassembling the furniture. We would have no concerns in recommending his company. 5 Star all the way.

Dave, Wendy, Kurtis and crew did a great job for us in our move from Trail to Kelowna. We needed to place all our belongings in storage while our home in Kelowna was being built. Dave looked after all the details and was excellent in fulfilling commitments, following through and monitoring/managing each step of the process. Their focus is customer satisfaction in providing for a smooth, reliable and friendly service at a most competitive rate. There was no damage to any of our belongings through the two loading/unloading steps. Excellent job!

We made a move from BC to Alberta just a week ago. I did many hours research prior to the move and was highly disappointed in the service of the major moving companies who attempted to continually increase the price and decrease the service. Highly frustrated I found Dave’s. From the very start Dave was up front, honest, accommodating and helpful. The movers did an amazing job from being on time, highly cooperative and took great care with our possessions. Dave also arranged to ship our vehicle. The whole process was perfect from start to finish and although I was overweight Dave kept his promise and I paid exactly what was quoted which was thousands less than anyone else. At the last minute I had to cancel a scheduled move due to

no contact from company I had scheduled. After checking further into that company they had very bad ratings lately.

With only 2 days until closure I needed a company right away,after many calls finally I reached Dave and he was able to organize a move.

The movers(Tim & Jeremy) were there on time were great to work with. They handled everything very carefully and professionally. My total weight was over estimate and Dave honored his quote.

They need to add one more star they were 6 out of 6.

I was so impressed I contracted them for my next move in August.

Our experience with Calgarys Best Movers was excellent from start to finish. All my calls were answered with any questions promptly answered. Did a thorough walk through and quote cap. Movers arrived on the days scheduled and communicated their arrival time well. Everything was carefully wrapped and unwrapped so no damage occurred. Movers placed things in whatever room I asked them to (even rearranged a few things for me after I changed my mind on placement). There were no sursprises on the bill and the final price was below the quote amount. Overall extremely happy with the experience and would hire them again!
